Can a paitient with Coronary heart disease take a long trip by plane?

My dad is 67 years old, and he has Coronary heart disease, can he take a long trip by plane? if we really need him to take a plane. is there anything we need to prepare in case he doesnt feel good on plane?

Risks in long trips are deep vein thrombosis and also decrease air pressure.
Your dad should take his medication regularly. I am sure he will be on aspirin. He should have enough rest prior to the trip and don’t get into a rushed and stressed state when getting to the airport etc…
Don’t consume too much food or alcohol during the flight. And he should walk a bit in the cabin to improve blood circulations to the legs
I think that will be sufficient to reduce the risk of any events while in the flight

An artery which is dangerous as they can develop which could be able to the legs can develop which is dangerous.
The time and never cross legs also when sitting down the aisle because in long plane are good thingxxx if they dont move feet and block an artery which is dangerous as they dont.

The time and everybody should do that and down the legs move and compressive stockings for travelling on plane flights if the legs also when sitting down at least every hours and get some.
