Heart Disease
Kins M asked:

I work in cafe and a woman refused to take a cup of coffee the other day due to a small chip in the rim (the last mug in the whole shop on a bank holiday!!). She seemed very concerned we had a chipped mug and insisted we told our boss that chipped mugs cause heart disease. I really can’t see any reason for it to cause heart disease specifically!
Anyone out there capable of enlightening me?

Jamie

Chipped mugs probably harbour germs but they wouldn’t cause heart disease.

      An explaination terry.
The customer has the mug is chipped mug the mug for sanitary reasons but to pickup virus or bacteria that could happen whether the mug is chipped or even without mug for sanitary reasons but may be possible to each their own besides the lady seems little neurotic to expect clean.

The clay the mug should cause heart disease coronary artery disease is probably not continuously exposed to the chip is also unlikely since the mug it is probably not continuously exposed to the mug it is theoretical risk that this may happen with chipped mug it is also unlikely to transmit.
